Howard M. Lorber

President and Chief Executive Officer

Howard M. Lorber serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, and President and Chief Executive Officer of our wholly owned subsidiary, New Valley LLC. Since 1994, Mr. Lorber has actively managed Vector’s and New Valley’s diversified interests, which include New Valley’s broad portfolio of real estate projects located in the United States. Mr. Lorber also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Douglas Elliman Inc. (NYSE: DOUG), the sixth largest residential real estate brokerage company in the United States offering a comprehensive suite of technology-enabled real estate services and investments, and as Executive Chairman of its subsidiary, Douglas Elliman Realty, LLC, one of the nation’s oldest and largest real estate brokerage firms.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lorber has successfully led numerous corporations and, at different times, held positions simultaneously. He serves as Executive Chairman of Nathan’s Famous Inc. (NASDAQ: NATH) and a director of Clipper Realty, Inc. (NYSE: CLPR). He previously served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE American: LTS) from September 2006 until February 2020, when the company was acquired by Advisor Group, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners. Mr. Lorber was a member of the Board of Directors of Morgans Hotel Group Co., a hospitality company that owns and operates boutique hotels from March 2015 until November 2016, and Chairman from May 2015 to November 2016.

In 2017, Mr. Lorber received a Presidential appointment to serve as Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He also serves on the board of Garden of Dreams, as Chairman of Southampton Hospital Foundation, and Co-Chairman of the Silver Shield Foundation–a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance towards the educational costs of children of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

Mr. Lorber holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Science degree in Taxation, and an Honorary Doctorate from Long Island University, where he is also a trustee.

Jonathan Lemle

Managing Director

Jonathan Lemle leads the firm’s real estate investment platform with responsibility for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, closing, post-closing management, and disposition of all assets. Mr. Lemle reports directly to President and CEO Howard M. Lorber, with whom he works closely, particularly in the sourcing of prospective investment opportunities.

Under his leadership, the firm seeks out opportunities involving best-in-class partners and subjects all prospective investments to a robust due diligence process. Mr. Lemle and his team conduct a detailed review of legal and financial elements and perform a rigorous evaluation of all assumptions related to the projected performance of the asset. Outside experts are engaged as necessary to satisfy New Valley Realty regarding investment potential. Mr. Lemle leads strategy and oversees asset management throughout the life of all investments.

Prior to joining New Valley Realty, Mr. Lemle spent nearly a decade in real estate development. At Street-Works Development and then Zeckendorf Development, LLC he was involved in underwriting, financing, entitlements, and project management for major residential and mixed-use properties in New York City and throughout the Northeast Corridor. Mr. Lemle began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America. He holds an MBA in Real Estate from Columbia Business School and a BA in Political Science from Union College.

Dasha Milova

Senior Associate
Asset Management and Acquisitions

In this role, Dasha Milova leads daily oversight of certain real estate investments from pre-acquisition analysis through development, operations, and disposition. Throughout the life cycle of each investment, Ms. Milova works closely with the entire team, including development partners, operators, contractors, architects, engineers, and construction firms, to provide support in the realization of optimal economic outcomes. From participating in initial underwriting and orchestrating closings to representing New Valley at development meetings and on periodic site visits, Ms. Milova is deeply involved in every aspect of the projects she oversees. This perspective enables her to deliver timely, comprehensive updates to capital partners. Since joining the firm in 2014, Ms. Milova has assisted in capital raises, pre-acquisition analysis, financial modeling, development of marketing plans, and creation of repositioning plans for distressed asset opportunities.

Ms. Milova is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the New York Private Equity Network Real Estate Group (NYPEN Real Estate). She earned a BBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and has completed courses on real estate financial modeling and development at the NYU Schack Institute of Realty.

Daniel Dockerty

Senior Associate
Asset Management and Acquisitions

Daniel Dockerty provides a vital supporting role throughout the life cycle of the firm’s real estate investments with responsibilities including participation in the comprehensive evaluation of prospective investments and assisting in the underwriting, closing, ongoing oversight, and disposition of assets. Mr. Dockerty takes day-to-day lead in ongoing oversight of certain assets under management. He joins site visits; represents New Valley Realty at development meetings; and liaises with development partners, operators, contractors, architects, engineers, and other construction team members to ensure assets are continuously positioned to deliver on their optimal ROI potential. He also updates capital partners throughout the life of the investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Dockerty was an Associate at Starwood Property Trust, where he assisted in underwriting loans for a wide range of commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use properties in premier markets nationwide. Over the course of five years at Starwood, he participated in closing over 30 loans totaling nearly $6 billion.

Mr. Dockerty holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He is a member of the New York Private Equity Network Real Estate Group (NYPEN Real Estate).

Jessica Wang

Executive Assistant

Jessica Wang is Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of New Valley Realty. Since joining the firm in 2015, she has leveraged prior experience as a project manager in complex and fast-paced work environments in New York City to provide a broad range of support to the entire New Valley Realty team. In addition to general administrative tasks, Ms. Wang gives tactical assistance that streamlines accurate execution of pre-acquisition due diligence, closings, and ongoing asset management.

Ms. Wang holds a BBA in Marketing with a focus on Accounting from the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland.
